We are happy to note that the US government with the help of US Naval Forces Central Commander Vice Admiral Bill Gortney paid tribute to the "incredible team effort “of all men and women who helped save the Captain of the Motor Vessel Maersk -Alabama, Richard Phillips, from near death in the hands of three or four pirates who held him hostage. Three of the pirates were shot and the fourth in US custody. President Obama, praised the men for a good job done, and went on to say that he will not tolerate any more pirates attacking our maritime navy ships.
Now comes the question? Why is the whole Western Democratic Institutions so upset with Tiny Sri Lanka, when it’s President who like Obama and Gordon Brown have been democratically elected by the citizens of Sri Lanka, and when he gives an order to kill the Terrorists in Sri Lanka, that they are up in arms.
This as a US citizen is beyond my comprehension. Remember a few years ago the UK fought a war thousands of miles away from the UK, in the Falklands. Now, how on earth has UK the right to fight a war so many thousands of miles away from its borders, and yet when Sri Lanka tries to fight the terrorists in their own land these so called friends of Sri Lanka are mad as hell! I do not understand that Logic.
It’s time we all talk the same language. That’s good for the GOOSE is also good for the GANDER.
