The project has already got the blessings from decision makers both in Sri Lanka and the US for the project to move forward.
We envision the project to be completed in 2 years. It will be a twenty bed rehab centre with out-patient capabilities.
We will design the physical facilities with a program to suit the needs of the people of the North, and to this end we will use local expertise with foreign expertise to bring about a quick resolution of the project.
Already we have been able to put together an Executive committee with a Board of Directors in the USA with a few experts from Sri Lanka who will be involved with the US Board of Directors.
This group will be an umbrella group of the SriLankanamericansforobama.com, and will be working tirelessly to bring this project to fruition.

We embrace the ideals of love, brotherhood, and non-violence to benefit the US and to free our brothers and sisters in Sri-Lanka from the vicious cycle of hate, bigotry, and extremism. We enlist educational and religious leaders to propagate social justice and peace. Finally, we a factual resource for accurate, unbiased information on the current situation in Sri-Lanka, and dedicated to the principles of the Rule of Law, Transparency, and Accountability.
