Obviously this Commission has no important work to do. I wonder why a group of EU countries, with Mauritius and another Latin American country is so keen to discuss Sri Lanka, when she last week beat a formidable army belonging to the Tiger Terrorist group which has being terrorizing Sri Lankan civilians for nearly 27 years.
The EU countries for all these years did nothing to help Sri Lanka a democratically elected government. We wonder whether there are other motives bigger than Sri Lanka itself. Could it be that these EU countries are trying their best to balkanize India by the way of Sri Lanka. Divide Sri Lanka first and the breakaway Tamil Nadu to form a HOMELAND for the Tamil people. Is this the thinking in the EU capitals?
If EU is sincere in its efforts regarding war crimes and other violations of Human Rights they should call for a meeting to discuss the violations in IRAQ, AFGHANISTAN and PAKISTAN. The NATO countries are killing millions in these countries and yet this is to save the planet!
